The development of the Templar and Hospitaller heritage and the presentation of local history by the existing methods of restoration and rehabilitation, but also through a deeper appreciation of that history in order to present it to the inhabitants and the visiting public with as much authenticity as possible.
The ramparts of La Cavalerie will be restored, the ancient town centre revitalised and access given to the sentries' walkway.
The heritage of La Couvertoirade will be developed by making it possible for the site to tell the "story of fortifications and the defensive methods of the Larzac" of which many examples are visible at the site and which make it a unique place thanks to the presence of a Templar castle.
The commandery of Sainte-Eulalie de Cernon will be given over to the presentation of "the life and history of the commandery at the time of the Templars and the Hospitallers" who fashioned it over eight centuries and who have bequeathed it to us in all its fascinating complexity.
The tower of Viala du Pas de Jaux and the dwelling attached to it will be restored and rehabilitated in order to explain how, under the impetus of the Military Orders, the population developed their farming from simple pastoralism to agro-pastoralism.
The bringing to life of the heritage of the Templars and the Hospitallers and their region through historical reconstructions presented in the form of living spectacles retracing the epic history of the Templars and the Hospitallers down the centuries.
There will be possibilities for meeting local people so that links may be forged thanks to the sharing of strong emotions provoked by the culture shock.
The sites will be given the possibility to participate in the presentation of this history by offering each its own heritage and by becoming in turn the backdrop for the spectacle
Cultural tourism will be encouraged over the whole region so that everyone can develop a new activity which will make the most of his heritage.The creation of an Interpretative Centre on the Military and Religious Orders so that yesterday's history can help to understand the present and illuminate the future.
